From public exhibition to an innovative conference and exhibition for trade visitors!
RENEXPO® Austria's development from a mixed public and trade fair to a conference and exhibition for trade visitors started in 2010 thenn propelled in 2011 and will be continued in 2012. The use of the new Salzburg Congress Center is a cornerstone of this strategy.
With the current Austrian energy strategy in mind, the Conference and Exhibition's offer is directed to the Austrian market. An increasing number of exhibitors, trade visitors and conference delegates are expected mainly from Austria. The strategic RENEXPO® Austria network will greatly be expanded.
With the same energy, RENEXPO® Austria focuses on specialized topics like "hydro power", "BIPV" and "Sustainable Buildings Systems (energy-plus-houses)" within three international business and industry forums. A rapidly increasing number of exhibitors, trade visitors and conference participants, especially from Austria and neighbouring countries are expected in this product segment.
Internationalization is further strengthened by focusing on innovative niche markets like combined heat and power, electricity storage, etc. of which there are only a few market participants in Austria, due to focusing on Switzerland, this year's partner country, as well as focusing on neighbouring countries Germany, Italy (most notably South Tyrol), the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.
