Arrival
By Car
Own motorway exit on the A1 Westautobahn. Just a 10 minute car drive from the Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart to the exit „Messezentrum“.
CAUTION:
A vignette (road tax disc) is obligatory for travelling on the motorway. You can also buy a „Wochenvignette“ for 7,70€ which is valid for 10 days. These are available at gas stations close to the motorway. For visitors from Germany travelling on the Bundesstraße (federal highway) where no vignette is required is advisable.
You can park directly at the Messezentrum. Parking costs 0,70€ for each begun half hour and up to 9€ for a day pass up to 24 hours.
By Airplane
The airport Salzburg is located about 4 km west form the city centre, with an own motorway exit to the Westautobahn A1 in direction of Vienna/Budapest with exit to Munich A8 as well as to Tauernautobahn A10 in direction of Kärnten-Villach, Italy.
The airport is located in the area of the “Salzburg Becken”, in the former draw area of the “Untersberg-Moores”. It adjoins the city Salzburg in the North and East, south is the “Unterberg” (mountain) and west of the airport is the national border to Germany.

By Train / Public Transportation
The Salzburg main railway station is the most important station of the agglomeration of Salzburg and is further more an important traffic junction in West Austria.

Bus Route 2 – Gaswerkgasse Lehen transfer to Bus Route 1 – Messezentrum Salzburg

The Bus Route 1 travels directly from the train station to the Messezentrum and back.

Visa Applications

In order to receive an Invitation Letter simply fill out the Visa Application Form online (Only typed forms will be accepted). Print out the form once all details have been completed and sent it to us by fax with a photocopy of your passport. Invitation Letters will be posted by normal post.
